Delete your account

You can delete your account and everything we store at any time.

Accounts and sync are coming soon. Until you create one, Folio keeps everything on your iPhone and we hold no account data about you — see “No account?” below.

In the iPhone app

  1. Open Folio and go to Profile.
  2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
  3. Confirm who you are (Apple, Google or an email code), type DELETE and confirm.

Your account and every entry, photo and task on our servers is deleted straight away; server clean-up finishes within minutes, and backups within 30 days. Folio then asks whether to keep a copy of your diary on the iPhone.

On the web

Once the web app is live, sign in and go to Settings → Account → Delete account.

By email

Email privacy@devilsense.com from the address you signed in with. We’ll confirm before deleting.

No account?

Then we hold nothing about you. To clear the app, go to Profile → Your data → Erase data on this iPhone. That removes every entry, photo, task and category, including Recently Deleted.
